Day 1: Cochin
Begin your Tour.
Arrive into Cochin
Welcome to your 'Exotic Beaches of Kerala'
On arrival in Cochin, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel. Relax for a while and later proceed on a city tour of Cochin.
Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, chinese fishing nets, St. Francis
Church and the Santa Cruz Church. Also visit the Hill Palace Museum which
displays articles of archeological importance.

Day 2: Cochin - Periyar
Early morning after breakfast drive to Periyar. Check in at the Hotel.
Afternoon, visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctury. Enjoy Boat ride (at your own
cost) in Lake Periyar to watch wildlife. Sightseeing will include spotting
a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild
boar etc.
In the evening visit Kumily spice market to see and buy spices.In the
evening walk around in the peaceful town known for various Spice and coffee
plantations

Day 3: Periyar - Munnar
Morning at Leisure at the Periyar Wildlife Sanctury. Later drive to
Munnar, the famous hill station of Kerala. Arrive Munnar and check-in
at your hotel. Relax for rest of the day.

Day 4: Munnar
This morning proceed on a city tour of Munnar.
Visit Eravikulam National Park to see rare mountain goats locally called
the Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town, Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam.
Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Visit the bazaars, plantations
etc

Day 5: Munnar - Kumarakom
Morning drive to Kumarakom near Kottayam and upon arrival, check into
your hotel.Relax for a while and later proceed on a city tour of Kumarakom.
Visit Churches, Kumarakom Bird Sanctury etc.
Overnight: Hotel
Day 6: Kumarakom - Aleppey
Morning drive a short distance before switching over to a boat for
a through many canals and waterways up to Aleppey. The backwater cruise
in a country boat is the best way to explore the villages and rural life.
In Aleppey you will be taken aboard your floating houseboat, a different
boat with a bedroom and en-suite rest room for your comfort. Enjoy unlimited
surfing on backwaters, sip a coconut, get disturbed by only the chirping
of birds and occasional ripples in water and savor mouthwatering delicacies
prepared in front of you by your Kitchen crew. Spend the night on board
the houseboat. Enjoy a cruise on the backwater through a maze of canals
and lagoons and enjoy freshly caught fresh water fish cooked to your taste
on board.

Day 7: Aleppey - Trivandrum
The houseboat comes to halt at Alleppey. Disembark the houseboat after
breakfast and drive to Trivandrum. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Trivandrum,
visiting the ancient temple of Sri Padmanabhaswamy is one of the major
attractions in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. Napier Museum was built
in 1880 and shows a harmonious blending of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese and
Italian architectural styles. Sri Chitra Art Gallery has a good collection
Tanjore, Mughal, and Rajput schools of art. The Zoo in Thiruvananthapuram
has many shady and delightful walks. Overnight: Hotel
Day 8: Trivandrum - Kanyakumari Excursion
Full day return excursion to Cape Camorin, the southernmost part of
the Indian mainland. Visit the Vivekananda Memorial, which is built about
400 meters offshore.

Day 9: Trivandrum
After breakfast transfer to Airport / Railway station to board the
flight/Train for your onward journey to back home with sweet and unforgettable
memories of 'Exotic Beaches of Kerala' escorted by Vardhman Vacations.
